Carpenet Porcelain is a Limoges porcelain factory, located in Saint Léonard de Noblat, near Limoges.
It is a family business currently managed by Jacques Carpenet.
Founded in 1963 by Claude Carpenet, the company then focused on the manufacture of white
porcelain and developed a wide range of items:
candy jars, vases, jugs, medicine jars, soup tureens,lamp bases, flower pot holders, pockets, ...
In 1985, the factory opened its decoration workshop. The imagined decor lines are based on local
know-how and the specific techniques of Limoges porcelain including oven blue, decal, decor
enhanced by hand and inlay.
The company obtains in 2009 the label ENTREPRISE DU PATRIMOINE VIVANT; distinguishing French
companies with craftsmanship and industrial excellence.
The company is still honored with thisdistinction to this day and continues to create and produce new forms in the tradition of Limoges.
In 2019, the company has obtained “Protected Geographical Indication” (PGI).
Today, the collections have diversified with the development of table services, decorative pieces and
modern designs.
At the local level, two factory outlets, one at the factory in Saint-Léonard de Noblat and one in
Limoges, allow items to be sold directly.
The company is present on the French market and on the international market.
It surrounds itself and collaborates with companies of excellence and
independent artists.
